Dr. Vanessa J. Avery, PhD, transforms difference into meaningful connection, bridging gaps that foster community thriving.
Dr. Vanessa Avery is an internationally recognized leader in interfaith engagement, radical hospitality, and community transformation. As Executive Director of Sharing Sacred Spaces, she has helped thousands of individuals and organizations build bridges across difference. Vanessa’s work integrates architecture, psychology, ontology, neuroscience, and faith traditions to inspire inclusive communities.
She is also a Lecturer in Interreligious Understanding at Yale Divinity School, and a Fellow at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace.
